1. Calculation of strength of reservoir

We apply the rule of JIS B 8243 (Structure of boiler pressure
reservoir)

1) Thickness of shell plate (mm)

The equation is as follows ;

t : thickness of shell plate (mm)
¥ò : tensile strength of reservoir material (kg/mm2)
¥ç : efficiency of length joint (%)
D : inside diameter of reservoir (mm)
C : corrosion allowance (mm)
p : internal pressure of reservoir (kg/mm2)
x : allowable stress rate on tensile strength
In case of steel, apply 1/4

The equation is as follows ;
